1. Overview

Water-Eject.com is operated by Beat Squad LLC ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and what choices you have.

The short version: we don't require accounts or collect your name, email, or payment details. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics to improve our tools. You can decline, and everything still works.

2. What We Don't Collect

Water-Eject.com does not collect:

  • Names, email addresses, or phone numbers
  • Account credentials (no sign-up or login exists)
  • Payment or financial information
  • Audio from your microphone or speakers
  • Precise location data
  • Contact lists or personal files

All audio processing happens locally in your browser. No sound data leaves your device.

3. Analytics Data We Collect

If you accept our cookie consent banner, we load Google Analytics 4 (GA4). GA4 collects usage data including:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • General geographic region (country/city level)
  • Device type, browser, and operating system
  • Referral source (how you found our site)
  • A randomly generated client ID stored in a cookie
  • IP address (used by Google for geolocation, then truncated)

This is usage data, not identity data. We cannot identify you personally from it. We use it only to understand which tools get used and how to improve them.

If you decline cookies, GA4 does not load and none of this data is collected. The site works the same either way.

Google Analytics is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies

We show a cookie consent banner on your first visit. Analytics cookies only load if you click "Accept." If you decline, no cookies are set.

If accepted, the following cookies are used:

  • _ga - Google Analytics client ID. Expires after 2 years of inactivity.
  • _ga_* - Google Analytics session data. Expires after 24 hours of inactivity.

Your consent choice is stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie) so we can remember it on future visits.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies. You can clear all cookies and localStorage through your browser settings at any time.

5. Local Storage & Service Worker

Water-Eject.com is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that uses your browser's local storage and service worker technology to:

  • Cache website files for faster loading and offline access
  • Store your app preferences locally on your device
  • Remember your cookie consent choice

All data stored locally stays on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear it through your browser settings.

6. Legal Basis for Processing

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing data are:

  • Consent - Analytics cookies are only loaded after you give consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent by clearing your browser's localStorage and cookies.
  • Legitimate interest - Local storage for app preferences and service worker caching are necessary for the site to function properly.

7. Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google's default for GA4), after which it is automatically deleted. Cookie consent preferences stored in localStorage persist until you clear your browser data.

8. International Transfers

If you accept analytics cookies, usage data is processed by Google, which operates servers in the United States and other countries. Google processes this data under its Data Processing Terms and applicable Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict data processing
  • Data portability
  • Withdraw consent at any time

Since we don't collect identity data, the most practical way to exercise these rights is to decline or withdraw cookie consent (clear localStorage), which prevents all analytics collection going forward.

10. Third-Party Services

The only third-party service on Water-Eject.com is Google Analytics, and it only loads with your consent. We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or any other third-party data collection tools.

11. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to anyone. Analytics data processed by Google is used solely for our own website improvement and is not shared with other parties.

12. Children's Privacy

Water-Eject.com does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). Our tools are freely accessible without any data submission.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If changes are significant, we will reset cookie consent so you can review and choose again.
